Maureen was born in Derbyshire but has lived in Pembrokeshire since 1977 where she worked as an infant teacher for 30 years. Retirement has provided the opportunity to acquire new skills in watercolour and oil painting as well as designing and carving lovespoons. Maureen takes inspiration from the sea and coast in the local area and these often feature in her paintings.
